National Honor Society
Invitation to apply letters have been emailed out to all junior and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. A carbon copy of the email was also sent to the parent emails listed in campus.Important Dates
- September 12: Eligibility letters were EMAILED to students & parents.
- November 19: Application materials will be EMAILED to eligible students.
- December 10: DEADLINE for all application materials.
- January 3: Acceptance and rejection letters emailed to students.
- Sunday, January 23, 2022: NHS Ceremony at HS Theater (7:00 PM).
If you have any questions, the eligible student should stop in and see Mr. Lynum in room
802-C during the school day from 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Robotics
WARPSPEED 4239 is a high school FIRST Robotics Competition team from Willmar, MN. The team is made up of approximately 20 students and is mentored by Mike Kroeker and Joe Kurhajetz along with alumni and several members of the Willmar community. The team is led by its members with assistance from the mentors. WARPSPEED is an acronym that stands for Willmar Area Robotics Programming Simulations Pneumatics Electronics Engineering Design.

Perfection is the moving target we consistently and intentionally aim to hit through practice and preparedness.Why should I join speech?
There are so many answers to this question. To put it simply: speech is the best way to unlock your potential as a person. The tools speech gives you will be used for the rest of your life in any line of work. There are 13 different categories to compete in, so we promise we will find you a place where you can be successful. We have a great community on our team where everyone is welcome and encouraged to be the best they can be.
How do I join speech?
If you are interested in joining speech, contact a coach or any participant. In order to participate, you must have paid the activity fee and filled out the proper paperwork.When is the speech season?
- Speech season runs from December-April.
- December and January are the preparation months of the season.
- The regular meet season runs from February-March.
- The postseason is the month of April.
- Most of the meets are on Saturdays.
- Students who are interested in qualifying in national tournaments are able to continue competing in May and June as well.

Results are published to Speechwire. Follow @WillmarSpeech on Twitter for updates on the day of meets and other interesting info.Advisors
