Why should I join speech?
There are so many answers to this question. To put it simply: speech is the best way to unlock your potential as a person. The tools speech gives you will be used for the rest of your life in any line of work. There are 13 different categories to compete in, so we promise we will find you a place where you can be successful. We have a great community on our team where everyone is welcome and encouraged to be the best they can be.
How do I join speech?
If you are interested in joining speech, contact a coach or any participant. In order to participate, you must have paid the activity fee and filled out the proper paperwork.
When is the speech season?
- Speech season runs from December-April.
- December and January are the preparation months of the season.
- The regular meet season runs from February-March.
- The postseason is the month of April.
- Most of the meets are on Saturdays.
- Students who are interested in qualifying in national tournaments are able to continue competing in May and June as well.
