Welcome to the Willmar Public Schools! We are excited that you will be partnering with us in your student’s education.
New students, grades K-12, who will be attending Willmar Public Schools should register at the District Office located at the Willmar Education and Arts Center (WEAC), 611 5th Street SW, Willmar. Individual schools do not register new students. Central registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If a new student is under age 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to accompany the student to registration.

To help with the registration process, please bring the following items to WEAC:
Current permanent address and phone number
Birth Certificate or any document that includes birth date, if available.
If Special Education, copy of IEP
Name and address of previous school
The registration process includes:
A student identification photo
Free and Reduced Meal Application, if requested
Parent Portal applications for easy viewing of your student’s information, including lunch account balances.
If you'd like to download forms beforehand, one Student Registration Packet is needed for each new student. In addition to the student packet for each student, a Family form also needs to be filled out (Only one is needed per family)
