Why can't I use the Hotspot on my phone for my iPad? It is faster!
While we understand that the Internet may be faster from the hotspot on your phone than from the school's network, using it breaks the iPad Terms you agreed to at the beginning of the year. Using a different network is a method of bypassing the Government mandated filter that we have set up. In the Minnesota Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA), Minnesota Statutes 125B.15 require schools to restrict all student access to material that is reasonably believed to be obscene. The use of other networks or any other methods of bypassing the filter while at school, may be punishable by loss of iPad or expulsion.

I lost my iPad, now what?
At iPad boot camp or whenever you received your iPad, the person setting up the iPad turned the app "Find My iPad" on. We then locked that setting down in the restrictions, the tampering of this setting is in direct violation of the agreement you signed before receiving your iPad.If the iPad is lost, it must be reported to the main office as soon as possible. It may be the responsibility of the student and family to recover or replace the lost iPad. If necessary, the district and the police will assist in the recovery.
