Students must earn a total of 58 credits to graduate from Willmar High School.
Each school year is divided into 4 terms with 4 classes in each term.
Students will take 4 classes per term and can earn up to 1 credit per class.
The following is a breakdown of the required credits a student must earn in each subject area:
8 credits in English Language Arts
6 credits in Science to include Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry OR Physics
6 credits in Math to include Algebra 2 and a statistics component
8 credits in Social Studies, including American History, Economics, World History, and World Geography
3 credits in Health and Phy Ed
2 credits in Visual Performing Arts
