    2022-23 Wrestling Softener Salt Fundraiser

     

    • Orders are made online - click here to order your salt online

    • Orders are a minimum of 5 bags

    • Payments of check or cash can be given to the wrestlers when the order is placed. Orders made online will receive a phone call back for payment processing by credit card.

     

    The Willmar Takedown Club annual Salt Drive is here!  Every season the Takedown Club sells softener salt as a fundraiser for the wrestling program.  The proceeds go toward benefiting and supporting all levels of the Willmar Wrestling program.  Besides supporting our young student-athletes, this fundraiser has been a huge success because the wrestlers will deliver it! If customers would prefer you can come to pick up your own salt and the wrestlers will load it into your vehicle for you!

    What: Softener Salt Fundraiser for Willmar Wrestling

     

    When: Online orders will close on Tuesday, November 22nd 2022 at 5:00pm.

    • If you have a paper order form, return your forms along with any money you’ve collected by the end of the school day on Tuesday, November 22nd to your coach listed below:

      • HS - Coach Oehlers

      • MS - Coach Neu

      • Youth - Coach Swoyer

    Athlete sale instructions:

    1. Attend Ice Cream Social to get important information about the fundraiser and upcoming season

    2. Share the fundraising link with your family members, friends, coworkers asking for their support.  Explain the fundraiser and what the money is used towards.

    3. We are asking for a minimum order of 5 bags, and if you buy a pallet you get a discounted price listed below.  

    4. Go door to door using the fundraising link.  You can enter the order information online for the customer.

    5. Make sure to collect check payments at the time of the order and turn them in to your coach by Tuesday, November 22nd.  If customers are paying by phone with a credit card they will receive a call from a booster club member to make payment over the phone.

    6. Make sure to tell your customers to enter your name at the bottom of the form so you get votes counted towards your sales and incentives.  If you sell a pallet worth you get a $50 Hansen gift certificate.  The top seller from the program will also receive a second $50 Hansen gift certificate.

     

    Delivery instructions:

    • Delivery is Saturday, December 3rd 2022 from Design Environments (421 Benson Ave SE Willmar, MN 56201)

    • Every wrestler is expected to help with the fundraiser and delivery.

    • Wrestlers (and a parent if needed) can arrive at Design Environments to help load and deliver salt starting at 7am.

    • You will be given your customer list when you arrive, along with the delivery information. 

    • All orders will be pre-sorted. Volunteers will direct you to your order upon arrival.

    • It helps if you have a vehicle and/or trailer that can transport the salt and people delivering with you.  If not, we will find someone to help deliver your order with you.

    • If you didn't sell salt, you will be helping to load vehicles and trailers at Design Environments, or will be assigned to help deliver with someone else.

    • If a customer is choosing to pick up their own salt order we will have wrestlers on site to help them load.

    • (Pallet orders should write their checks for the discounted price, and will get the discount at the time of payment if paying by credit card)
