Meal Account and Payments

  • Parent Portal

    Parents/Guardians can use the online Parent Portal to:
    • Check account balances on-line
    • Monitor meal purchases
    • Make payments to your student's meal account
    • Set up recurring payments

    Low/Negative Balances

    Parents/Guardians are able to view student's transaction detail on the Parent Portal. If you do not have access to Parent Portal, please fill out the Parent Portal Activation Request Form.  
     
    The parent/guardian will be notified when the household account is at $10.00 or less. The method for notifying the parent/guardian of children in grades K-12 will be via the automated calling system.

    Payment Options:

    Option 1:  Auto Withdrawal
    Willmar Public Schools offers automatic withdrawal from your bank account via Bremer Bank as a payment option for our meal programs. We encourage this payment option for all reduced and full paid students. This is a convenient, easy and cost effective option to pay for your student's meals. A new form must be completed each school year. A voided check is required with this process or you may turn in a letter from your bank indicating your account information. This letter must be printed on the bank's official letterhead. If you would like to take advantage of Automatic Withdrawal please complete the Automatic Withdrawal Form and return it to:

    Option 2:  Parent Portal Recurring Payments
    Parents/Guardians can use the online Parent Portal to set up automatic payments for their student's meal account. To learn more about this option, click here to learn more information.
     
    Option 3:  Parent Portal One-Time Payments
    Parents/Guardians can use the online Parent Portal to make a one-time payment for their student's meal account.
     
    Option 4:  WEAC District Office
    Parents/Guardians can make a payment in person at the WEAC district office between 8:00am and 4:30pm. You may also bring a payment the WEAC district office located at 611 5th Street SW, Willmar, MN 56201. The drop box is located outside the main door (parking lot entrance).
     
    Option 5:  Student's School Office
    Parents/Guardians may send payments with your student to the school they attend. Payments need to be turned in at the school's office by 9:00am.  
     
    Option 6:  Mail a Payment
    You may send a payment to the following address:

    Processing Meal Payments

    All payments that we receive will be distributed equally between all students in your household, unless you notify us otherwise. We always pay off any negative balances within your household before we equally distribute payments. If you would like to specify individual percentages for your students, please email the Food and Nutrition Services Office at wpsfns@willmar.k12.mn.us or call by phone at (320) 231-8526. We will keep the same distribution percentage you specify until we hear otherwise from you. We are also able to transfer money between your household's individual accounts upon your request.
