Hello! My name is Jeff Winter and I have been a School Counselor since 2003. I started as an elementary school counselor in St. Cloud, MN and worked in their schools for four years before moving my family to Willmar to become a middle school counselor. I really enjoy working with this transitional age group. These students are in the middle between childhood and adulthood – I guess that is why we call them Tweens and Teens!  In addition to being a school counselor, I coach the boy’s high school soccer teams. As the head coach, I coach the varsity team and oversee the JV teams. I really enjoy coaching. It is a great way to connect with students in a different venue and having connections with students at different age levels is great too!

My name is Tarah Davidson, and I have been a school counselor for the past 8 years. I grew up in Idaho and Montana, and recently moved to Minnesota with my husband Jon, my son Casey, and our family dog Lucy. Our family likes to enjoy meals together, work on projects around the house, and spend time outdoors. I'm looking forward to fully embracing the Midwest lifestyle- winter and all! 

Being a school counselor is my dream job. Adolescents are in a season of life that will impact the trajectory of their lives like none other. My favorite role is to encourage all children to strive for their personal best academically and socially. Willmar Middle School is a community that cares, and I'm so happy to be here!
