The mission of the Willmar Public School Counselors is to work collaboratively with other educators, families, students, and the community to provide a comprehensive school counseling service for all students. Licensed School Counselors assist students to become productive members of society. WPS Counselors promote and enhance the growth and development of every student through three areas: Academic, Personal/Social, and Career development.
We in the High School Guidance office work with all our students to provide them with the best resources available. Though we work primarily in the Academic and Career development areas, we also work with many students with personal or social concerns.
This website is designed for our students and families to use as a resource in the college and post secondary search process. The links in the "Information" drop down menu will provide further information about the post secondary search process. There are also forms you can download under the “forms” link. We hope that you find the resources useful in your post secondary search.
Please feel free to email or call your counselor, using the information below, or stop in to talk with a counselor.
