MMEA All-State Program Congrats to the 2011-12 All-State Choirs, Bands and Orchestra! WHS All-State Musicians 2011-12 Band: Phil Nadolny, Dan Tusa Choir: Elise Haugen, Janessa Palmer, Laura Swartz Orchestra: Paul Benson, Arial Gazelka, Connor Haugen, Rachel Schmidt The 2011-2012 All-State Groups spent a week at MN college campuses August. They now are preparing for their performance at Orchestra Hall in February. This performance is in conjunction with the MMEA Mid-Winter Clinic. You can find the All-State Audition schedule, etudes, excerpts, and scales on the Downloads page. 2012-13 All-State Conductors and Camp Locations The All-State Bands will be held at University of Minnesota Duluth The All-State Choirs at St. Johns University All-State Orchestra at Concordia College, Moorhead. Rehearsal and performances dates are August 6 - 11, 2012 and February 15 - 16, 2013 (Feb 14-15 for the Jazz Band). Conductors for the 2012-2013 All-State Ensembles are Steve Peterson (Concert Band, Ithaca College) Takayoshi Suzuki (Symphonic Band, University of Nevada Las Vegas) Christopher Aspaas (Men's Choir, St. Olaf College) Rollo Dilworth (Mixed Choir, Temple Univeristy) Rhonda Fuelberth (Women's Choir, University of Nebraska Lincoln) Amir Kats (Orchestra, Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies) Dave Hagedorn (Jazz Band, St. Olaf College).
