Hello! My name is Wade Adamson, I have taught Elementary Physical Education for 28 years. My first four years of teaching were in Watertown, South Dakota and the last 24 years here in Willmar. I have enjoyed connecting with the students and like to pay "special" attention to those that are sometimes overlooked.
Prior to teaching I was born and raised in Willmar and graduated from Willmar Sr. High in 1975. I then attended South Dakota State University on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree, majoring in Physical Education with a minor in Health. During that time I was fortunate enough to be drafted in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft in 1978 and played three years in the Minnesota Twins farm system.
My wife Lisa and I have had six children attend Willmar Public Schools and five of them have went on to post secondary school, the sixth is now currently in ninth grade at the High School. The education and the positive experiences they have had here in Willmar have been invaluable in their successes.
