Mission Statement: 
The Mission of the Willmar Public Schools Foundation is to provide support and enhancements to students and programs in the Willmar School District for Grades PreK-12.

Annual Fund Drive in December, Other Memorials or Contributions accepted all year. 
Contributions are tax exempt.

Examples of projects funded each year:
•Athletic and activity fee participation fees for students needing assistance.
•Registration and transportation costs of students attending museums, theatre, National

Competitions and other field trips.
•Motivational incentives for the Accelerated Reading Program
•Artists and writers-in-residence
•SMART Board technology
•Solar Panel Energy Project

•Provide special opportunities for children
•Enhance the learning experiences of children and young people
 

WPS Teachers at NASA Ames

Four WPS science teachers were
selected for a NASA Simulation-Based
Aerospace Engineering Insternship
.
The goal is for science teachers to inspire
students to investigate STEM careers
(Science Technology Engineering Math).
  
The internship took place at the
NASA Ames research facility near
San Francisco, CA.
