Request for Community Input
Over the past eight months 17 school districts, a couple of education service providers, and Ridgewater College have been working on a project together discussing education’s future in West Central Minnesota. The participating districts stretch from Ortonville to Lester Prairie and represent over 16,000 students across the region.
The core purpose has been to explore ways in which increased cooperation might provide more and better learning opportunities for ALL children in the region. In an effort to gather feedback in the communities served by the project partners, a survey has been developed for distribution across the region.
The survey has five different categories of possible action. Planners are hopeful people living in West Central Minnesota will weigh in on the categories by rating the different ideas for each category. In the final section, survey participants have an opportunity to respond to a couple of open ended questions. Your comments are appreciated.
The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. The information gathered will help the Regional Planning partners’ shape and frame the initiative’s future. We’d appreciate if you’d take the time to complete and submit the survey. Your contribution to this project is appreciated! Thank you.
