Increase the academic proficiency of all students through effective instruction and appropriate curriculum and assessments in partnership with all staff as well as parents, guardians and community members.

In order to meet our mission and reach our goal it is understood that we must all work collaboratively to provide for the social, physical and emotional well being of every child.

Course Completion:
ALL departments in the building will focus on increasing course completion rates at department level during school years 2010-2012 relative to baseline data from the previous four years.

Four WPS science teachers were
selected for a NASA Simulation-Based
Aerospace Engineering Insternship
.
The goal is for science teachers to inspire
students to investigate STEM careers
(Science Technology Engineering Math).
  
The internship took place at the
NASA Ames research facility near
San Francisco, CA.
