Kennedy Elementary was established in 1994 and is located in southwest Willmar. Kennedy is a public school serving approximately 780 students from all-day-every-day kindergarten through the 4th grade.
Kennedy is proud to be accredited by the North Central Association.
Achievement
At Kennedy Elementary students enjoy small-group learning opportunities with teachers who know their students' needs. In creative ways, students are encouraged to explore and develop their special interests and talents.

Kennedy's program is based on a comprehensive set of grade-level expectations for student achievement in grades K-4. Teachers apply a set of grade-level expectations to spark student achievement in reading, mathematics, science, social studies, music, the arts, physical education, health and technology education.
Kennedy staff delivers an array of services to equip all learners with measurable skills for lifelong education. From supporting students with specific learning or physical needs to extending learning beyond the class-room, Kennedy's teachers expect the best from their students and from themselves.
