740 - District Fund Balance

PURPOSE
When the general unreserved fund balance is equal to or less than six (6) percent of the total general fund expenditures budget, the administration shall alert the Board of Education and propose the following alternative measures on a timely basis to maintain the six (6) percent minimum fund balance level.
A. The District will seek additional funds through a referendum.
B. The District will reduce expenditures by curtailing program services.
C. The District will use a combination of a referendum and curtailing program services.
